Beechstock Young Artists

Beechstock Young Artists is an innovative project to help support the emerging talent discovered through the Beechstock Festival projects. Young musicians often struggle to make their break finding it increasingly difficult get their music heard and pay for the recording time and other promotional material they need. Beechstock Young Artists was created to help support these talented musicians build the fan base they need to succeed.

Beechstock Music Festival first opened it's gates in 2010 out of the Beech Tree in High Wycombe and stole the hearts of the locals by raising much needed funds for local charities. It has run events ever since and since its collaboration with the New Music Connection project in 2012 the future looks brighter than ever. Combining their talents and contacts for event organisation, Radio, A&R, management and promotion they have created a platform to give these young hopefuls every chance for success.

KMD Studios

The BYA allows young artists to spend studio time with Gary At KMD at no cost to themselves. Gary came highly recommended to us and we are pleased to have him on board.

KMD Studios are based in Chartridge, near Chesham in Buckinghamshire. We are now a private facility but open our doors to support local artists and young musicians, offering them good a quality recording service. I have almost 30 years experience in the industry, working at many professional studios in and around London and the home counties through the 80’s, my trade began during the analogue days, working with and editing 2” tape! Moving with the times, I set up my first studio in the wilds of S. Wales in the early 90’s, running a rack of ADAT’s, which at the time was ‘state of the art’ technology. At the new studio we are entirely digital but believe the warmth from the analogue days should have some place within modern recording techniques. We strive to bring your creative projects to life!
